The Arecibo Science Advocacy (ASAP) group organized a commemorative event for the community on December 1st, 2021 that included:

  • Keynote Presentation “Celebrating the William E. Gordon 305m Telescope: Its History and Scientific Achievements” by Dr. Don Campbell
  • A diverse group of Arecibo users recorded a series of short videos with the title “What does Arecibo mean to you?” that were shared with the community.
